Tata Tiago AMT has been launched. This new variant is made available int he XZ variant and it is called as XZA. The Tiago AMT has been launched and it gets all the features of a Tiago with an AMT. The AMT version will be made available with the Tiago petrol only. It won’t be offered on the diesel engine. The new Tiago AMT will be coming in soon. What will it be made available with? What will be the pricing? The AMT version has just been spotted, and it seems that the Tiago should soon start arriving at the dealerships. We share a detailed preview.

Tata Tiago AMT Price in India

The new Tiago AMT will be about INR 40,000 to INR 45,000 more than the conventional Tiago. The Tiago AMT will be offered with two variants, one will be XT and the other the top-of-the-line XZ.

Both these variants will come on petrol only.

Tata Tiago AMT Design

The Tiago AMT will be identical to its manual  version. There will be no change in the exterior. The only visible difference would be in the badging. The Tiago AMT will have the sam sharp looking exteriors and the humanity grille at the front. The prominent Tata logo will also be there. The wheel size will also be identical to the manual Tiago.

The interior of the Tiago AMT will be the same as the manual. The Tiago has good quality interiors. It also feels a lot more plush than other cars of Tata. The fit and finish is also comparable to the best selling cars in its segment. The black and grey colour theme will continue. This is a pleasing colour theme. The only difference in the Tiago AMT will be the change join the gear shifter lever, which will be similar to the one see on the Zest AMT.

The Tiago has decent space inside and also has a 230 litres boot, which is handy of small luggage.

Tata Tiago AMT Engine

Tata will be introducing the AMT on the petrol version. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre Revotron engine that develops 83bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. This is quite powerful engine and therefore the company will have no issues in adding an AMT to it. The diesel engine is a 1.05-litre Revotorq engine that churns out 69bhp of power and 140Nm of torque. The diesel engine is quite torquey and smooth. However, Tata will not introduce AMT on the diesel version.

Tata Tiago AMT Mileage

The Tiago AMT will have the same fuel efficiency of the manual version. The AMT petrol will return 23.84km/l as per the ARAI cycle. In real world driving conditions it will return 14-20 km/l. The Tiago is a fuel efficient car and this will be a major reason why customers may opt for Tiago AMT.

Tata Tiago AMT Launch Date

The Tata Tiago will be launched in the later part of first quarter of 2017, probably by the month of March. Tata will be busy with launch of the Tata Hexa, Kite 5 and also the Nexon. The Tiago range will become more competitive with the introduction of the AMT.

Tata Tiago AMT Variants

The Tiago AMT will be available only in the XT variant. The XT variant is the second highest variant in the line-up of the Tiago. There may be a possibility of the AMT coming in the top end XZ version. However, the price point will be higher, hence it is yet to be seen if Tata will launch the AMT in this trim level.
