Maruti Suzuki is dominating the sales in the Indian market with 51,274 units sold in June. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, Alto800, WagonR are some of its entry-level champions. Hyundai Motors is behind with a significant number and has managed to sell only 21,320 units. Hyundai Santro, Grand i10 are some of its entry-level offerings.

Tata Motors has gained huge popularity with its ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign. The current situation of the Chinese boycott is also in favours Tata Motors. It has already sold 11,419 cars in the Indian market as of June 2020.  Tata Motors is also performing significantly better than last year. Tata Tiago, Tata Tigor and Tata Altroz are some of its entry-level contenders. With its impressive sales figures, it has managed to secure the third position ahead of Mahindra and Kia Motors.

Kia and Mahindra motors are fourth and fifth respectively with 7,000 and 8,075 cars sold in the Indian market. While Kia only sells the Seltos and Carnival, Mahindra has a larger variety with Mahindra KUV100 and KUV300 competing.
