Unsurprisingly, the Tata Nexon has once again topped the SUV sales chart in July. It has made to the top spot on its own in the last six to seven months. Riding on the success of the Nexon and its other cars, Tata has recorded its highest ever sales number. It recorded monthly sales of 47,505 units registering a Y-o-Y growth of 57%.

Close on Nexon’s heels is the Hyundai Creta with 12,625 units sold in July. In the last two to three months, the Creta has definitely given a close fight to the Nexon. Can Creta dethrone Nexon’s monopoly at the top? For that, we will have to wait. As a product, the Creta is known for its features and a wide variety of engine & transmission options. The upcoming facelift is expected to assist the nameplate in acquiring the top spot once again.
