Honda
Honda saw a total of 7103 cars selling in the month of March this year. The main products that helped Honda achieve these numbers were the Honda Amaze, the Honda WRV and the Honda City.
Toyota
Toyota sold 15001 units of its products in March 2021. Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Toyota Glanza have been the top-selling products for the brand.
Maruti
Maruti has been the top-selling brand in the country for almost all the years. The brand saw a total of 1,46,203 units sold in March. The new Maruti Swift, the Maruti Baleno and the Maruti WagonR were the top 3 cars in terms of sales.
Ford
Ford has plans to bring new products to the country under its future plan for India. For now, the brand sold 7746 units of its products in the country. The Ford EcoSport and the Ford Endeavour were the main reason behind these numbers with Ford EcoSport single-handedly bringing 5487 sales.
Hyundai
Hyundai, with 52,600 units sold, stands at second position when it comes to total sales in the month of March for the whole of the country. The cars that helped Hyundai maintain the second position were the Hyundai Creta, the Hyundai NIOS and the Hyundai Venue.
Kia
Kia has quickly climbed the ladder when it comes to sales figures. The brand sold 19,100 cars last month and the major chunk was brought in by Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet.
MG
MG Motors saw a total of 5528 units selling in March. MG Hector and the MG ZS EV were the main cars that brought in the main sales.
Tata
Tata Motors held the third position in the country with a total of 29,654 sales in March. Tata Nexon, Tata Altroz and Tata Tiago collectively held a major chunk of the total sales.
Mahindra
Mahindra sold a total of 16,700 cars in March 2021. The top-selling products were the Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra XUV300 and the not so long ago launched new Mahindra Thar.
Renault
Renault has seen 278% growth when compared to the sales of Renault in March 2020. The brand sold a total of 12,356 units in March 2021. The main products that played a huge role in this were the Renault Triber, the Renault Kwid and the recently launched Renault Kiger.
Nissan
Nissan has seen its revival in the country and the complete credit goes to the brand’s compact SUV, the Nissan Magnite. The brand’s total sales stood at 4012 units with 2987 units of them being the Magnite.
Volkswagen
Volkswagen finished the month of March with a total of 2025 units being sold. The Polo was the sole bearer of the brand with a total of 1888 units being sold.
Skoda
Skoda sold a total of 1159 units in March. The major chunk was brought by the Skoda Rapid which was bought 903 times in March.
Jeep
Jeep saw a massive growth of 734% compared to total sales of Jeep in March 2020. The brand sold a total of 1360 units of the Compass.
