The EV is also expected to be offered in Signature Teal Blue colour which we see on the Nexon EV as well.

The Altroz’s electric avatar will be based on the ALFA-Arc platform which has been developed especially for the Altroz EV from scratch. The battery pack will be a 30.2kWh liquid-cooled, IP 67 lithium-ion setup which is touted to generate around 100bhp. The EV will be based on the company’s Ziptron EV technology. The Nexon EV is also based on the same. The Altroz, which never received an automatic gearbox, will see a single-speed transmission come in its EV avatar.

The charging time is expected to be close to an hour on DC fast charging when charging from 0 to 80%. The range of the EV is expected to be around 300km on a single charge, however, actual figures might vary. If Tata maintains this charging time to range ratio with its final product, the Altroz will be a great choice for city commutes as well as highway drives.
