1) Hero Splendor
There is no surprise here. This is the bread and butter bike for Hero India. People simply buy this bike for the popularity of its name brand. While performance and looks are nothing spectacular, it provides decent value for its price. Hero sold 225,382 Splendors in India in 2021. The new Hero Splendor Plus costs between Rs. 75,363 to Rs. 79,676 (on-road Mumbai). It comes with a 97.2cc engine which produces 62kmpl of ARAI claimed mileage.
2) Honda Activa
This is the best-selling Honda product in India for a very long time. Like the Splendor for Hero, the Honda Activa is the bread and butter product for Honda. Honda sold 211,660 units of Activa during the month of January 2021. The new Honda Activa 6G costs between Rs. 82,000 and Rs. 86,000 (On-road Mumbai). It comes with a 110cc engine which produces 50kmpl of ARAI claimed mileage.
3) Hero HF Deluxe
The commuter bike segment is also pretty famous with the HF Deluxe taking the third spot on the list. Hero sold 134,860 units of the HF Deluxe during January 2021. The new HF Deluxe costs between Rs. 62,000 and Rs. 75,000. It also comes with the same 97.2cc engine with 65kmpl of ARAI claimed mileage.
4) Bajaj Pulsar
Bajaj Pulsar is known as an affordable sports bike in our country. This has also become a popular name brand in India. Bajaj sold 97,580 units of the Pulsar during January 2021. The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 costs between Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 1.00 lakh. It comes with a 124.44cc engine which produces claimed mileage figure of about 52kmpl.
5) CB Shine
Honda CB Shine in India is known for its super smooth engine and comfortable ride quality. Honda sold 1,16,222 units of the CB Shine during January 2021. 6) Hero Passion Pro
This is also a pretty famous bike from Hero in India. Hero sold 43,162 units of Passion during January 2021. On-road Mumbai price of the new Hero Passion Pro is Rs. 82,449 for the drum variant and Rs. 84,912 for the disc brake variant of the bike.
7) TVS Apache
This is a super seller TVS bike in India. Enthusiasts love the Apache and there are different versions to cater to different needs. TVS sold 28,456 units of the Apache during January 2021. The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V costs Rs. 1,27,829 for the drum brake variant and costs Rs. 1,29,891 for the disc brake variant.
8) Bajaj Platina
This is one the highest mileage giving bikes in India. If fuel efficiency is your major concern, then the Platina is your best friend. Bajaj sold 27,131 units of the Platina during January 2021. On-road Mumbai price of the new Bajaj Platina is between Rs. 66,538 and Rs. 78,894.
9) Royal Enfield Classic 350
This is one of the most famous bikes sold in India. It is also a dream bike for many many people. Royal Enfield sold 40,875 Classic 350s during the month of January 2021. It costs between Rs. 1.93 lakh and Rs. 2.22 lakh. You get a 346cc engine which produces ARAI claimed mileage of 35kmpl which is quite low by industry standards. However, Royal Enfield is much more about raw style, status and performance.
10) Hero Glamour
Hero sold 22,681 units of the Glamour during January 2021. This is also a pretty popular bike in India which looks good being on a budget. The new Hero Glamour costs between Rs. 88,467 and Rs. 93,750 On-road Mumbai.
