Tata Harrier EV coming sooner than you expected!
Tata Motors has truly grabbed everyone’s imagination in the EV space. It currently has the largest EV portfolio in the country and it is only expected to grow in the coming days. Tata is going on a EV launching spree with four new electric SUVs coming by early 2024. One of them is the Harrier EV, and it is coming sooner than you expected. Launch
Tata has confirmed that it is planning to launch four new electric SUVs by early 2024. The first of these will be the Nexon EV facelift in September. After that, we could see the Harrier EV, Punch EV and Curvv EV. The Harrier EV is Tata’s most ambitious EV. Tata Harrier EV 2023 – Design
The Harrier EV shown by Tata at the Expo was a concept iteration. However, the brand claims that the production version will be almost identical to the concept. The concept model had a closed front grille and eyebrow DRLs that cover the bonnet, .EV badging and new alloys. Other exciting things include connected tail lamps and redesigned bumpers.
Specifications
Tata didn’t reveal the specifications of the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo. What can we expect? It should at least come with a 60-70kWh battery pack for a big SUV like Harrier. This battery pack should give the SUV a real-world range of at least 400 to 450km to make sense for buyers. The Harrier EV could also come with an AWD variant.
Tata Harrier EV 2023 – Features
The interior of the Harrier EV concept was very similar to the ICE harrier. However, in the production version, we could see some major changes. Tata could give it a new dashboard layout with a 12-inch infotainment system and features like ADAS, voice-activated sunroof, digital instrument cluster etc. Other than that, we could see LED headlamps, ventilated seats etc.
