2024 Kia Sonet facelift spotted testing in India
Kia is now consolidating its foundation in the Indian market. Last month, it launched the updated Seltos with almost everything needed in the C-SUV segment. Its next target is to update the Sonet and grab the top spot in the compact SUV segment. The Sonet facelift has been spotted several times before but outside India. Now it has been the first time spotted testing in India. So what new things does it get? In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift.
2024 Kia Sonet facelift – Spy shots
The spied car is sporting heavy camouflage at the front and the rear. So we can expect changes on the front grille, LED headlamps and new DRLs. The bumper could also get a refreshed design. Side profile is camouflaged but we don’t expect any major changes here. At the rear, we can see vertical tail lamps like the Seltos facelift. We can also expect an overall change to the tailgate design.
What else to know?
The interior of the facelifted model has been spotted a few times but with camouflage. So we can expect some new things in the interior. Kia could add some features missing from the current model like a cooled glove box, heads-up display, 360-degree camera, electric driver seat etc. Also, we may see ADAS on the Sonet facelift. What about the specifications? Specs-wise, we don’t expect any changes. So the facelift will continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Kia recently wrapped up the launch of the new Seltos and now seems to have shifted the focus to the Sonet facelift. According to reports, Kia could globally unveil the car by the end of this year, and the India launch could happen soon afterwards. What about the pricing? Pricing-wise, we can expect a price hike of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000, depending upon the variants.
