Hyundai Grand i10 (Rs. 60,000 across range)
The mid-level hatchback segment has some pretty strong contenders from every car manufacturer. The i10 brand name has been in India for quite a long time and the present generation Hyundai Grand i10 has become quite famous too. The Hyundai Grand i10 costs between Rs.5.91 lakh and Rs. 6.01 lakh. It comes with 2 variant options, with a single 1197cc BS6 petrol engine and only manual transmission. It competes against Maruti Swift, Tata Tiago, Maruti WagonR and Ignis.
Hyundai Elantra (up to Rs.1.00 lakh)
The executive sedan segment mentioned above also has this contender from Hyundai. With its sleek fluidic design, the Hyundai Elantra is a great and worthy alternative. It costs between Rs.17.60 lakh and Rs.20.65 lakh with 2 engine options and both manual/automatic transmission. The Hyundai Elantra also comes with all the advanced features, that are expected with its hefty price tag.
Hyundai Santro
The Hyundai Santro is available in four variants options to choose from: Era Executive, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. The 2020 Hyundai Santro base variant Era Executive costs Rs.4.57 lakh (Ex-showroom). CNG option is not available in this variant.
A 1.1L petrol engine is available with the car. It produces a maximum power output of 68bhp@5500rpm and a peak torque output of 99Nm@4500rpm. There is a 35L fuel tank capacity. 13-inch steel rims are provided with the car. Hyundai i10 Nios
The car costs between Rs.5.06 to Rs.8.29 lakh.(Ex-showroom) It serves as one of the best options in the entry-level hatchback segment. Hyundai also recently launched the Nios turbo which we reviewed. Hyundai is the only car manufacturer in India which is able to give competition to Maruti in terms of overall sales. The Nios in its segment is something much more premium and spacious than competition.
Hyundai Aura
Hyundai Aura costs between Rs.5.85 lakh and Rs.9.28 lakh On-road Mumbai. It is basically a Grand i10 Nios with a larger backend. It has one diesel engine, two petrol engine and one CNG engine on offer. The Diesel engine is 1186 cc, the Petrol engine is 1197cc and turbo 998cc while the CNG engine is 1197cc. It is available with both Manual & Automatic transmission.
