1) Hyundai AX micro-SUV
In our country cars like the Maruti Ignis have gained a lot of ground for tallboy hatchback buyers. But somewhere we see people also considering cars like the KUV100 and waiting for the Tata HBX (Hornbill). Hyundai too understands that Tata will position a car under the Nexon as it’s getaway model aka Hornbill to the SUV world and make the big car more accessible for buyers. The AX is already under test and is soon expected now. This car’s pricing should start under Rs 5 lakhs.

2) Hyundai Creta 7-seater
This is simply a case of catch up. Hyundai and the industry is well aware of the development of the Tata Gravitas, Jeep Compass 7-seater and the new-gen XUV500. The Hector Plus is currently one car that is on sale in the segment which going to be the premium mid-size 7 seater SUV market space. It will be interesting to see which of these cars come first to market and challenge the Hector Plus. This car is going to come during the festive season of next year.

3) Hyundai Palisade
Lastly, the full size SUV segment in India is also getting crowded. The Fortuner. Alturas, Endeavour, Gloster, CRV and Kodiaq currently dominate the segment. The need for Hyundai to come here with a big flagship SUV and take the competition to Toyota and Ford in the segment where they are untouchable is very necessary. The car is still being evaluated for India and at the same time is already been shown in Australia and Indonesia. We really hope to see this car in the future come Indian shores.
