Ford EcoSport Facelift – India Arrival?
The Ford EcoSport Facelift is expected to come to India soon! But recently Ford has introduced the 2021 EcoSport Active. Now the Active is just an off-road looking rugged form of the Ford EcoSport. So will India get this as the facelift or will the Ford EcoSport Facelift be inspired from it?

The Active tag is seen on other Ford cars in the international lineup. the Fiesta and Focus have active versions and they show similar kind of updates. It could be said that this is the crossover version of the car but making a Crossover of an SUV doesn’t really sound that great. In short, Crossover is a joint between a hatchback and small SUVs. In that respect, the EcoSport should become lower and more like a Hatchback which is clearly not the case here.

Changes Expected Ford EcoSport Facelift?
Now there might be an increased ground clearance as seen on the Active. Also, there are a lot of black parts on the car which add to the visual enhancements and give it a tough look than the current version. The new 8-inch touchscreen will come with Ford SYNC3 which will also support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Also, the Grill will be different with the new design and shape for the ORVMs. Putting the Ford badge offset on the grill might add to the visual appeal from the front. Now the Active version comes with Bang & Olufsen speakers so the EcoSport Facelift might also come with the same. The biggest addition might be a primitive level of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

The engine might be taken from the new Mahindra lineup but as of now, it gets the 1.0 litre EcoBoost which produces 125 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. India Arrival of the Active version of the Ford EcoSport is not much possible. But the Ford EcoSport Facelift is coming for sure real soon.
