The Tucson gets stylish interiors. They look sophisticated with good quality materials used. The leather wrapped steering wheel is chunky to grip. It has an 8-inch touchscreen system with navigation, reverse parking camera and bluetooth connectivity on it.

The Tucson also has an automatic tail gate opening feature with height adjustment.

The Toyota Innova has set a benchmark in interiors in the MUV segment.

The quality of materials is right up there and the layout of the cabin and dashboard is something unseen in this segment. It additionally gets a large multi-information display for the driver on the instrument console and also has ambient light in the cabin along with tray tables for rear passengers. Both vehicles have electrically operated driver seat adjustments.

Most of the features are similar on both vehicles, like touchscreen audio system, electrically adjustable seats, push button start and leather upholstery. The Tucson however, gets many more features such as a better quality audio system, dual zone AC, heated OVRMS, cruise control, Apple car play, automatic tail gate and front parking sensors too.

This is a no-brainer. The Innova Crysta certainly is the more spacious of the two. The Onnova Crysta offers a six/seven seating option as against the Tucson which can seat only 5. The Innova Crysta also has more space on the inside than the Tucson.

The Tucson comes with a 2.0-litre engine in both petrol and diesel. The petrol churns out 183bhp of power while the diesel makes 153bhp. Both these engines come with a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions.

The Toyota Innova Crysta comes with 2.7-litre petrol engine which delivers 164bhp of power and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.. It also has a 2.4-litre diesel engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine has 148bhp of power. The Innova Crysta has a 2.8-litre engine too which comes only with a six-speed automatic transmission. It churns out 172bhp of power.

In terms of performance the Innova Crysta has a bigger engine. However the Tucson has the advantage of a lighter body, hence a better power to weight ratio.

The Tucson will return around 10km/l and 8-9km/l for the petrol manual and auto respectively. The diesel manual will return around 15km/l while the auto will return 11-12km/l.

The Innova Crysta is expected to have a fuel efficiency of about  10km/l for the petrol. For the diesels, 9-11 km/l for the automatic and around to 12-14km/l on the manual.
