Mahindra XUV700 front

We are expecting the XUV700 to get an upgrade – this will be a model year change. So there won’t be much of a change in the vehicle’s specifications and we are expecting minor changes in the features – for example we are expecting the rear radar to come in – and some more extra ADAS features, auto day and night mirror is also expected on the new XUV700. So, in terms of features – some changes are expected on the new XUV700. However we do not expect the launch to be before the festive season.

Exciting Car launches in 2023 – 4.     Tata Nexon EV:

Nexon EV front side

As the Nexon petrol and diesel gets an upgrade, how could the Nexon EV be left behind. The new Nexon EV will also get LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, new touchscreen, and we are expecting some more changes on the EV front. The battery pack size might not change – however we are expecting an improvement in the range as the battery management system would get an upgrade. Tata will be upgrading the design on the Nexon EV Prime and the EV Max both – however it will be the EV Max that will get more feature upgrades. Could we see some ADAS features – we are expecting that to happen as well.

5.     Honda Elevate:

Honda Elevate front

Even though we have driven the new Honda Elevate – the launch is still pending. We are expecting the pricing by early September. Honda is waiting to get its SUV into the market and our expectation is very aggressive on the pricing front. The Honda Elevate will be targeted to compete with compact and mid-range SUVs and they are looking to have an advantage when it comes to pricing. This will help them attract a lot more car buyers to the Elevate as it is very spacious, powerful and safe too. Not getting a hybrid will be a big miss for Honda – however in the next 2 years we are expecting the electric model of the Elevate to see daylight. Pricing if we are asked should be between Rs 12 lakhs to Rs 19 lakhs (on-road). This is where the Elevate will shine – as the rest of its competition is priced upto Rs 24 lakhs, they do offer a lot more features as well.
