Both theses vehicles have an SUV inspired styling. They both are based on different platforms. The Vitara Brezza is based on the Swift platform, whereas the Ignis shares its underpinnings with the Baleno. The Maruti Ignis looks stylish and it has good road presence too. The large front grille with horizontal chrome slats making have a front stance. The headlamps gel well with the design and then it even gets daytime running LEDs. The front of the Maruti Ignis looks appealing and seems like a SUV. The Maruti Vitara Brezza  looks like a proper compact SUV. it has a raised stance, tall proportions and short overhangs at the front and rear. It also has steering mounted controls and Auto AC and Then there are dual airbags and ABS that will be offered as a standard feature. The Vitara Brezza gets Airbags and ABS. It also gets a touchscreen bluetooth audio system with steering mounted controls.

The Maruti Ignis comes with a 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel options. The petrol churns out 82bhp of power and 75bhp is for the diesel. Both these engines are offered with a five-speed manual and AMT options.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza comes with a 1.3-litre diesel that churns out 74bhp of power. There is no petrol option yet, but is expected soon. The Vitara Brezza will also get an AMT soon. Both diesel engines in these cars are same and have good power and driveability.
