September marks the beginning of the festive season in the country. People will be rushing to buy cars, and manufacturers will be obliging by bringing new models. In September, a lot of cars have been lined up for launch. In today’s article, let’s talk about all the upcoming cars in September 2023.

Honda Elevate

The Elevate is Honda’s first proper attempt at cracking the SUV segment in the country. The Elevate is based on the City platform but is quite a distinctive product. It comes with a proper oxy SUV design giving it a good amount of road presence. The interiors don’t have the wow element but are quite well laid out and practical. Specs-wise, the Elevate comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Honda is going to launch the Elevate on 4th September 2023. New cars September 2023 – Volvo C40 Recharge

In June, Volvo unveiled the C40 Recharge in India. Now, it is gearing up to launch the car in the country. The C40 Recharge will be the brand’s second EV after the XC40 Recharge launched last year. In terms of specifications, the C40 comes with a dual-motor setup producing 408bhp and 660Nm of torque. Battery-wise, it comes with a 78kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 530 km (WLTP cycle). Volvo is going to launch the car on the 4th of September.

Tata Nexon facelift

One of the most hyped cars in recent times is finally going to be launched. Tata will be hoping that it can live up to the hype. It has given the Nexon a completely new design in the exterior. This design is more in line with other Tata cars like the Punch and Harrier etc. In the interiors, it is going to come with a new dashboard layout and several new features. The new Nexon is going to be launched on 14 September 2023.

Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

Mercedes will be introducing its 3rd EV in India after the EQB & EQC. It comes with a signature Mercedes EV design with a closed-off grille. Battery-wise, it comes with a 90.6kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 590km (WLTP). It remains to be seen which Motor specifications Mercedes brings to India. Mercedes is expected to launch the EQE on the 15th of September. 

Lexus LM

Lexus will be soon introducing the LM, its luxurious van based on the Vellfire in India. The LM is a proper luxurious van with a length of over 5m. It comes with a more blingy design compared to the Vellfire. In the interior, the LM comes with a 48-inch TV in the second row, a 23-speaker audio system, recliner seats etc. Lexus could launch the 350h spec in India that comes with a 2.5-litre hybrid engine. Lexus is expected to launch the LM by the end of this month.

Mahindra is also working on launching its biggest SUV in terms of seating capacity. The Bolero Neo Plus is a bigger version of the Bolero Neo that is already sold in the country. It is expected to come in two seating options – a 7-seater & 9-seater. The 9-seater will come with side-facing jumper seats. Specs-wise, the Bolero Neo Plus should come with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Its specs could be similar to the Thar. Mahindra has yet to specify the launch date, but the car is expected to be launched by the end of September.
