Mahindra is throwing the kitchen sink in the EV segment. Last month, it unveiled its five Born Electric concepts. However, before we see any of the concepts, Mahindra is bringing the XUV400 to the market. Mahindra is calling it the XUV400 to differentiate it from the XUV300. As we near the launch, new details of the XUV400 have started surfacing online. In today’s article, let’s talk about the upcoming Mahindra XUV400 details.

New spy shots

The spy shots were posted on the YouTube channel that goes by the name ‘Powerstroke’. The car gets only some camouflage at the front & rear. We see the redesigned headlamp and taillamp design. From the spy shots, it seems that the side profile is identical to the XUV300, barring the extra length. We can also spot the charging port on the left side. Another thing to note is the regular-sized sunroof, hinting that it will get a normal sunroof and not a panoramic one. The alloy wheel design is also different to the XUV300.

What else do we know?

Mahindra recently posted the first teaser of the XUV400. With this teaser, Mahindra confirmed the XUV400 nameplate for this EV. The XUV400 also comes with the Twin Peak logo but is copper coloured. This is the new electric XUV logo that Mahindra unveiled at its Born Electric event. The XUV400 will be a C-SUV with a rumoured length of 4200mm. This added length would result in more space to pack in the batteries and give it a decent-sized boot space.
