Tata is rapidly modernising its lineup by bringing in new cars. It has also shown a strong desire to bring the EV revolution to our market. Earlier this year, Tata revealed the Curvv and Avinya concepts, clearly showcasing its ambitions in the space. The Curvv concept is especially interesting, considering it will take on the Hyundai Creta. Taking on the Hyundai Creta will not be easy, and Tata will have to thus load the CUrvv with some unique elements. Interestingly, the concept which was showcased did reveal some unique features. In today’s article, let’s talk about these probable segment-first features of the Tata Curvv that will help it take on the Hyundai Creta.

CNG

Tata Curvv features

The Tata Curvv gets touch-sensitive HVAC controls. In the Curvv concept, we saw controls like the AC, lock-unlock, rear defogger, etc on the centre console. However, one to surprise was the CNG button on this console. Traditionally, CNG is associated with budget cars and not premium offerings such as the Curvv. Still, the rising fuel prices have forced manufacturers to consider CNG option for such cars. If the Curvv comes with a CNG option, it could probably be the first car in its segment to offer a factory-fitted CNG kit.

Tata Curvv features – Boot space

Now, this is a bit debatable, as Tata didn’t reveal the boot size in the unveil. However, the Curvv comes with a coupe design which is known to offer a good amount of boot space. So, we expect the Curvv to offer segment-leading boot space capacity.

Electrically adjustable seat

Tata Curvv features

Cool features are the norm in this segment. However, electrically adjustable seats are not only cool but do offer a lot of conveniences. The Curvv concept showcased unique buttons for a back and fourth movement. However, its production version should get height adjustability option too. The Curvv concept also showcased seat-mounted seat belts. Generally, such seatbelts are seen in sports cars. It remains to be seen if they make their way to the production version or not.

Tata Curvv – Other notable features

Tata Curvv features

The Curvv concept showcased a lot of futuristic elements, and it will be hard to pin down all of them. There are some more cool things associated with the Curvv. We did get to see the dual-spoke steering wheel with a screen in the middle. We also see uniquely placed ambient lighting & the three-layered dashboard. What else? Tata had placed the forward and pause sign on the accelerator and brakes which looks quite cool.
