Maruti is also expected to bring three new models: the Jimny, Mid-size SUV collaborated with Toyota and a Baleno crossover. These expected launches can help Maruti gain a lot of market share back.

Maruti cars have also been known for their high fuel efficiency. But now, Maruti wants to go one step further by launching proper hybrid cars in India. Through its collaboration with Toyota, it has got a lot of expertise in hybrid tech. This will also help Maruti considering the upcoming CAFE norms.
Better features
Features have become an important USP in the Indian market. So Maruti is also looking to bring a lot of new features to its cars. Recently a spied image of the new-generation Brezza was leaked online, hinting at several new features. The new Brezza is expected to come with a sunroof, a floating touchscreen, a 360-degree camera and paddle shifters. We can expect this feature on other upcoming Maruti cars too.
Safety
Safety has always been a weakness of Maruti cars. But the recent awareness of safety brought by Tata and Mahindra has made people aware of it. People are now looking for better-built cars. Maruti has sensed this change and is working on it. It was recently reported that Maruti is looking for a 5-star NCAP rating on the mid-size SUV jointly developed with Toyota. Maruti prioritizing safety will surely help the Indian market.
