The sub-compact SUV segment has become quite popular in the past few years. The Venue competes in this segment and also is one of the best selling cars in this segment. But as this segment is very popular, the competition is also very stiff in this segment. Cars like the Kia Sonet and Nissan Magnite have revolutionized this segment with their pricing and features. To counter this, Hyundai will be bringing the facelift of the Hyundai Venue soon. In today’s article, we will be looking at this Rs 8 lakh Hyundai SUV with multiple features.

New Features

Hyundai will be looking to load the Venue with new features to rival the competition. A heads up display (HUD) will be a great addition as no other cars in this segment offer. HUDs are useful as they can help you focus on the road displaying all the information like maps and songs. Another addition on the same lines will be a fully digital instrument cluster. Ventilated seats will be another addition. Ventilated seats are a must-have in our harsh summers. Other additions will be a Bose premium sound system and a 10-inch infotainment system similar to the one offered on the Kia Sonet. The Blue Sense connected car tech will also be upgraded to make it more useful.

Any design change?

The exterior design is expected only to get some minor changes like a new bumper or fog lamp placement. It might get some new colour options to make the facelift edition stand out. The interiors are expected to get a major overhaul with a new dashboard layout.

Other specifications

As this is a facelift, we expect Hyundai to retain the current engine lineup. The current Creta comes with three engine options: 1.5L Diesel, 1.2L Petrol and 1.0L Turbo Petrol. The only expected addition is an automatic gearbox in the diesel variant. Kia Sonet is the only car that offers it in this segment, so Hyundai will be looking to match it with the Venue.
