What is the Kia Seltos X-Line?

Kia Seltos X-Line is supposed to be the top offering and will be placed above the existing GT series. The Seltos X-Line concept car was already on display at the Auto Expo last year. Similar to the Anniversary Edition that the brand had launched last year, Kia India will launch the Seltos X-Line to celebrate its second year in India. However, the X-Line will not be a limited-run model like the Anniversary Edition.

Exterior design

Kia Seltos X-Line

Kia Seltos X-Line will be based on a dark colour theme. A new Matte Graphite paint will be made available exclusively for the X-Line Edition. Seltos X-Line will continue to get the same headlamps. The grille will however see some minor changes with Matte Graphite internals surrounded by a piano black outline.

The front bumper will get a dark theme continuation with a gloss black faux skid plate finished in piano black. Currently, all variants of the Seltos come equipped with either 16-inch or 17-inch wheels but Seltos X-Line will be made available with 18-inch crystal-cut Matte Graphite alloy wheels. Contrasting orange elements will be used around the fog lamp housing, skid plates and side cladding. The rear side will get a dark chrome bar connecting the two taillights along with an X-Line branding. The tailgate, rear skid plate, exhaust, and shark fin antenna will also get a piano black finish.

The cabin will get Indigo Pera leatherette seats with honeycomb pattern and grey stitching. Other features like the touch screen infotainment system, instrument cluster and sunroof remain will remain unchanged. The car will continue sporting an electric sunroof. The unavailability of a panoramic sunroof will surely be a miss. The Seltos X-Line is more of a cosmetic change to the top-of-the-line GT variant. This means that it will continue to get all the features that the GT variants offer.
