Royal Enfield Cruiser 650 is a bike that a lot of potential 650 customers are looking forward to. There isn’t much know about the bike it does have a few things that can be speculated. Here are 5 things you need to know about this bike if you are waiting for it.
Engine
The engine is going to remain the 650cc parallel-twin engine that we have seen on the Interceptor. This engine is great for cruising every now and with the 650 cruisers the company is working more on ergonomics. The 650cc engine makes about 47 bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque. The best thing about this bike is that the engine is very torquey. This is good for a cruiser which means that there will be a relaxed riding experience.
Based on the KX
The bike will be based on the KX concept that was shown a few years back. It will have a low seat and relaxed riding posture. The changes would be in terms of the engine wheel and the cycle parts. Most of the cycle parts will be shared with the interceptor 650. Also, the frame on this bike will be different. More about it ahead.
Meteor Frame
The RE Meteor was introduced with a new frame. It has reduced the vibration significantly. Also, this allows better mounting for the engine and suspension of the bike. With the Royal Enfield Cruiser 650 we are going to see twin shocks at the rear and the relaxed rake angle at the front.
Price
This being a 650cc bike will be in the ball park of Rs 3 lakhs. This might have be expensive than the interceptor and continental GT. More information on price will be provided once the product is unveiled.
Launch
The launch of this Royal Enfield Cruiser 650 is expected in 2022. This year the RE updated Classic and the new 350cc bike will be introduced. The Royal Enfield 650cc bike has been spotted testing but no closer look has been come up.
