Skoda has already declared that the Kushaq has the longest wheelbase in its segment. The Skoda Kushaq is 4225mm long, 1612mm tall and 1760mm wide. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 188mm. The boot capacity is a 385-litre boot that can be expanded up to 1405-litre. The Tata Harrier, on the other hand, is 4598mm long, 1706mm tall and 1894mm wide with a ground clearance of 205mm.

The Harrier has a wheelbase of 2741mm, whereas the wheelbase of the Kushaq has been kept at 2651mm.

The 1.0-litre petrol unit comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter. The 1.5-litre petrol unit comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The Skoda Kushaq is not offered with a diesel engine.

The Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec Turbocharged diesel engine that produces impressive figures of 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a manual gearbox along with an automatic torque converter unit. The Tata Harrier is not offered with a petrol engine as of now.
