Skoda Kushaq Video Walkaround: Design Elements

What changes are expected?

Taigun Rear design

With the Taigun, we expect to see changes in some elements, if not all. The VW Taigun will sport the brand’s front grille, along with alloy wheels inspired by its elder siblings like the Tiguan and the T-Roc. Also, the Taigun will sport a different body design and headlamp & tail-lamp unit, when compared to the Skoda Kushaq.

On the inside, the Volkswagen Taigun is expected to see changes in the dashboard layout, armrests and seats. The seats on the Volkswagen Taigun might get coloured stitching. Along with this, the push start-stop button will take the position at the centre, similar to other products from the brand, namely T-Roc. The major changes on the inside might include a fully-digital instrument cluster that could be very close to Volkswagen’s Virtual Cockpit and a D-cut multi-function steering wheel. Also, Volkswagen might offer a floating touchscreen with the Taigun, something we did now see with Kushaq.

Another major difference could be the suspension setup, meaning the will have a stiffer suspension tuned for a sporty and more involving drive. Moreover, driving modes might also be offered, which the Kushaq misses.

Both cars are based on the same MQB A0 IN platform. Moreover, the engines and transmission will be shared, meaning the power figures are also expected to remain the same. Moreover, safety features might be borrowed from the Kushaq like standard ESP.
