New Kia Sonet variant coming soon?
Kia has set a firm foot in the country with its cars competing in the top lots in their respective segments. With Seltos and Sonet, the brand has established quite a name for itself. And Kia does know how to celebrate its achievements. When its first product, the Seltos, successfully completed a year in the Indian market, the brand launched an anniversary edition for the customers. Now, in a few months, the Sonet will also complete a year of a successful run, and we believe Kia might bring in an Anniversary Edition for the Sonet as well. In this article, we will discuss this new Kia Sonet variant and what are the changes expected.
Unique Colour Combinations
Like the Seltos AE, the Sonet AE might get special colour combinations; however, they might be different from what the former gets. Also, like the orange accents on the Seltos AE, the Sonet might sport a unique accent colour, however, that too might differ from the Seltos AE’s orange accent.
Different Body Elements
The Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition’s exterior elements might resemble the Kia Seltos’ Anniversary Edition. The Sonet AE, similar to the Seltos AE, might get a unique front skid plate & diffuser, unique housing accents surrounding the fog lamp and on the rear bumper, unique side skirts and all-black alloy wheels.
Also, the Sonet might get piano-black finished ORVMs, spoiler and roof, similar to what the Seltos AE gets.
Changes in the interior
The Sonet AE might get all-black leather seats on the inside, similar to the Seltos AE. Other than this, the rest of the interior is expected to remain the same. Features like a sunroof, air-purifier, front ventilated seats, multi-drive modes and traction modes are expected to be retained.
Will Kia Sonet celebrate its 1st anniversary?
The Kia Sonet was launched on 18th September 2020. The brand sold 38,363 units within just 3 months after its launch in September last year. Moreover, the Kia Sonet has stood amongst the top positions in sale numbers till now as well. So, seeing the success of this product, it is most likely that the brand will celebrate the anniversary with a new Kia Sonet variant.
