Husqvarna 125 – Is it a Possibility?
Recent news tells that Duke 125 is going to arrive with a new body design. The bookings for the same have been unofficially been opened for Rs 5,000. But if the Duke is getting an update in terms of design then would there be a Husqvarna 125 which would be a more premium looking offering. In this article, we state possibilities why we think that there should be a Husqvarna 125.
Why a Husqvarna 125?
It will be a premium looking the bike over the Duke 125. Being a 125cc bike costing above Rs 1 lakh the Duke 125 is a bike which a lot of office goers might consider. The orange black and white might be of everyone’s taste and that’s where the Husqvarna 125 might bring in some metallic subtle colours.

Conversion is easy
If a Duke 125 comes with the new Sub-frame for the Trellis frame converting it into a Husqvarna bike would mean only changing the body panels. The rake might be different on the Husqvarna but that might be kept the same for the 125cc bike. Also, the engine would be the same offering a good deal for buyers looking to go for the performance that the 125cc Liquid-cooled KTM engine offers.

Husqvarna India has plans to launch one more product in the indian market depending upon the response of the current 250cc models. They as a company have no plans for 2-stroke adventure bikes and recreational segment. We would really like to see more products from Husqvarna which are there in the India market.

Having the new 125cc Duke would make it one of the best looking 125cc bike and also one of the affordable KTM. Having a bike that looks better and premium at a lower cost or same cost would be a great deal.
The people who are currently considering the KTM 125 are budget bound people who want to enter the KTM family. Giving them a lower step which looks at par with the KTM experience would place Husqvarna in the minds of people. The Husqvarna 125 would be the bike that would offer the Indian Market an affordable premium looking bike with decent performance.
