Bajaj Pulsar Neon 150 recently got a price hike of Rs 5,000. This has resulted in a total price of Rs 90,000. So does the bike still offer the value for money over its rivals?

Bajaj Pulsar Neon Price Journey

The Bajaj Pulsar Neon price is now Rs 90,000 which makes it cost more than a lakh on road. But is we look back at the timeline then the Bajaj Pulsar Neon price was not so high.

It started at Rs 64,889 in November 2018.  At that time it was the cheapest 150cc bike in the segment and also had the trusted pulsar brand name on it. The Neon edition was launched to offer the cheapest 150cc bike by doing smart cost-cutting.

Now the company has launched the Pulsar 125 which makes for an even lower entry point in the brand and so that gave them some freedom to increase the Bajaj Pulsar Neon price. The company gave the bike its largest price hike of Rs 10,336 in its BS6 transition. So overall the price has increased by Rs 25,000 since its launch two years back. We have recently tweeted about the NS 125. Do check out our Twitter to know more about upcoming bikes and news.

Bajaj Pulsar Neon 150 Competition

Parameters Bajaj Pulsar Neon 150 TVS Apache RTR 160
Price Rs 90,000 (Ex showroom Delhi) Rs 97,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi)
Power 14 BHP 15.53 BHP
Top Speed 110 km/h 110 km/h

If we look at the basic parameters which a 150cc segment buyer would consider then the pulsar is a bike which offers a mediocre performance for a humble price. The other bike in this segment is the Honda Unicorn which is costlier and even does not offer great performance. If we look at the Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZS those bikes are a bit more premium and charge more money for the styling and fit and finish. Do check out the top speed of all the Bajaj Pulsars HERE.
