Maruti C-segment SUV

The powertrain will be coming in from Maruti, with Toyota expected to assist it with the proper hybrid system. The SUV will be shared by both brands.
Skoda Kushaq
Skoda Kushaq will most probably be the next C-segment SUV that the market will get to see. The car is already on the production line, meaning it will be launching sometime soon. Kushaq has been specifically built for India under the brand’s India 2.0 strategy. The car will get features like a 2-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an electric sunroof and wireless connectivity via Android Auto & Apple Car Play, making it a tough competitor to the Creta.
Mahindra Thar new variant
Mahindra is preparing a new lower variant of its Thar. The off-roader although has many potential buyers but miss out on them due to its high starting price (Rs 14.56, on-road Mumbai). Keeping this in mind, a variant that is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 10 Lakh is in the works. The lower trim will miss out on many features like a touchscreen infotainment system, 18-inch wheels, cruise control, etc. With that being said, the variant will be suited for people who wish to experience the Thar and enjoy its massive road presence.
Volkswagen Taigun
Taigun is Volkswagen’s answer to the Hyundai Creta. The Taigun will make its presence felt with sporty styling and unique features. A first-in-segment continuous LED tail-lamp, front red brake callipers in the GT variant and fully digital instrument cluster (Digital Cockpit) will be some of the features that will give the Taigun a strong hand.
Mahindra Scorpio
Mahindra Scorpio has been a much-respected nameplate for many years now. The upcoming Scorpio will carry forward its own legacy. Scorpio will now come in a modern avatar which will help it give a tough fight to cars like Hyundai Creta, MG Hector and Tata Harrier. The car will come loaded with features like dual-zone climate control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, connectivity via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera and many others.
