Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Exterior

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

For starters, Hyundai Alcazar is a 7-seater SUV based on the Hyundai Creta. Now in January 2024, Hyundai Creta received a major facelift which gets refreshed exterior, interior, & feature list. So with the Creta facelift, it was known that the Alcazar would also be updated. We have already seen spy shots which showcases a new front profile – new Creta inspired front grille, new bumpers and a new headlamp setup.

The side profile will be the same as before but we can see new alloy wheels. Even the rear profile will be completely different. The spy shots revealed new tail lamps which are very similar to the flagship Hyundai SUV, the Palisade. Other than that, the rear bumpers and the rear tailgate could get some design tweaks. Finally, the Alcazar facelift was spotted with dual exhaust pipes.

Interior & Features

The interiors of the Alcazar facelift is yet to be spotted but we can expect it to be similar to the new Creta. The dashboard layout could be very similar, including the new screens – 10.25-inch touchscreen system and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Even the colour theme is also expected to be similar, making the Alcazar feel more premium from inside. Talking about the feature list, again, could be similar to the new Creta. We can expect features like – dual zone climate control, head-up display, ADAS level 2, blind view monitor, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, front ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and a lot more. Apart from that, the Alcazar will probably continue to get unique features like second row folding tables and wireless charging in the second row.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Engine Specifications

In terms of engine specifications, we do not expect any changes from Hyundai. That said, the new Alcazar will continue to come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission duties will continue to be handled by a manual and a DCT gearbox. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre unit capable of producing 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options of manual and automatic should continue.

Launch & Price

According to some sources, Hyundai has already started accepting the bookings of the Alcazar facelift and could be launched in May 2024. In terms of pricing, we can expect a hike of Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh, depending on the variants. Currently, the Alcazar has been priced between Rs 19.78 to Rs 25.71 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So with the Alcazar set to launch with updated exterior, interior, and features, you can take a look of it before making your decision.
