Talking about the new teaser, Mahindra has confirmed that the new XUV300 Facelift will be the first SUV in its segment to offer a panoramic sunroof. The new large glass roof will allow more natural inside while also enhancing the premium quotient of the SUV. Currently, this feature is reserved for SUVs a segment higher.

In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the teaser also reveals the overall design of the dashboard which it now shares with the recently updated Mahindra XUV400. Highlights of the new cabin include the free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and the new fully digital instrument cluster. Both these units are similar to the one seen on the XUV700. The brand has also redesigned the AC unit which will continue to offer dual-zone AC, another segment’s first feature. The SUV will continue with the off-white/ivory-black colour scheme for the cabin while the option of ventilated seats has been added.

Alongside the above-mentioned features, we also expect Mahindra to offer 6-airbags as standard on the model along with optional ADAS functions which will enhance the overall safety of the SUV. Another area of improvement could be the boot, which is expected to grow larger thanks to some clever engineering.
