Cheapest Maruti Car With Sunroof Spotted
Among all the upcoming cars in 2024, Maruti Swift and Maruti Dzire are the two hot launches to happen. The Swift has been already unveiled in Japan and was even spotted testing in India. Along with that, the new Maruti Dzire has also been spotted testing in India. That said, a recent spy shot of the new Dzire has revealed an interesting feature. What’s that?

New Feature Spotted
Upon looking closely, we notice that the test car is equipped with a sunroof! Dzire is supposed to be a feature loaded car and with the sunroof it seems that Maruti will offer a lot of goodies. The Dzire was spotted testing in the cold regions of Himachal Pradesh which brands usually do to test their products in extreme climate conditions. Another important feature that Dzire could get is blind spot monitoring system.
Maruti Dzire – What Else To Expect?
Apart from that, the new Dzire will come with new design and interiors. The design however, will not change drastically, as seen on the new Swift. Upfront It will get a new grille, new bumpers, and blacked out headlamps. The side profile will likely remain the same but expect new alloy wheel design. The rear will also get new bumpers along with clear lens LED tail lamps.
For interior, we can expect the Dzire to get an identical dashboard layout as seen on the new Swift. It gets an all new dashboard and does come with plenty of new features. In fact the layout looks a bit similar to the Balenoe and Fronx. The new 9.0-inch floating touchscreen system is a welcome addition which could come with features like wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. We can also expect features like connected car technology, blind spot warning, sem-digital instrument cluster and wireless charging. Safety features could include 6 airbags on higher variants, ESC, & traction control.
Engine Specifications
The new Dzire will likely get the same engine specifications from the new Swift. The new Swift comes with a new 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol capable of producing 80 bhp and 108Nm of torque. Although this engine produces less power than before, Suzuki is claiming that this new engine will have a major improvement in terms of efficiency and torque. In Japan, Suzuki is also offering a mild-hybrid version of the Swift that adds around 3bhp and 60Nm torque with its DC motor to the specs of pure petrol. The efficiency figure of the standard version is 23.4kmpl, while on the mild-hybrid version it is 24.5kmpl. It remains to be seen if Maruti brings the mild-hybrid setup to India.
Maruti Dzire – Launch & Pricing
Maruti has already started testing the new Dzire in India and we can expect the Dzire to be launched by mid-2024. What about the pricing? Currently, the Dzire has been priced between Rs 7.65 to Rs 10.94 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With these updates, we can expect a price hike of Rs 80k to 1 lakh is expected over the current model.
