New Ford Endeavour At Rs 3.25 Lakhs – Here’s How!

While the recent spy shots of the new Endeavour in Chennai confirmed the return of the SUV, some fans just can’t wait for the new Endeavour as they have transformed their old Endeavour into new! So what all modifications are done and how much will they cost?

Modified Ford Endeavour

We came across a Youtube video wherein we can see four Endeavours being modified into new. The channel name is Her Garage while the person behind the modification is Mr. Anshuman who runs Auto Daddy Customs. Talking about the modified Endeavour, Mr. Anshuman has changed the majority of the parts of older Endeavour. The front end is completely new which includes new bonnet, new LED headlamps, new front bumpers, and new front grille. All of these are the exact parts which are used on the 2024 Endeavour. The side profile gets more bulging claddings which are running across the body of the SUV. The rear however remains the same with minor additions like connected tail lamps.

Overall, the body kit does the job pretty well as it has successfully transformed the old Endeavour into the new one. So if you own one, you can modify yours to make it look like the new Endeavour. But how much will that cost you? According to Mr. Anshuman, the body kit should cost you around Rs 3.25 lakhs. He has also equipped the Endeavour with different alloy wheels which cost around Rs 3 to 4 lakhs.

New Endeavour as a product

Apart from the modified Endeavour, the upcoming version does command an excellent road presence. Even the interiors are all new which sports a massive 12-inch vertically placed touchscreen system. Other features include a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, adaptive cruise control, nine airbags, lane keep system, and more. A major upgrade has been done in the engine department. Globally, the Endeavour comes with a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine. Along with single-turbo and bi-turbo diesel engines. There is also a 2.3-litre Ecoboost petrol engine. That said, it will be interesting to see engine options Ford brings to the Endeavour in India.

Modified Ford Endeavour – Ford’s plan in India

Ford has been quite tightlipped about its re-entry plans. However, it has done a lot of things in the background. Few weeks back, Ford filed a design patent for a new compact SUV that could rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, etc. Later, another rumour popped up that Ford was thinking about entering a JV with Tata Motors. A JV with Tata Motors makes sense as the American brand is focusing more on hybrids and EVs. Partnering with Tata Motors, the king of the EV segment will give Ford’s re-entry plans a head start in India.
