Now let’s first talk about the interior as it has received a major revision. What immediately grabs the attention are the two massive screens. The new Tucson gets a one single piece curved display that houses a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen system. The other big change happens to be the steering wheel. Gone is the Creta-like steering wheel which is replaced by a 3-spoke unit. The new steering wheel indeed looks more futuristic than before. Revisions have been done to the centre console and now looks cleaner than before. The buttons on the centre console are replaced by a touch panel as seen on the recent Tata SUVs. Overall, the new interiors are more luxurious than before and have a perfect blend of sophistication and futuristic design.

We can also expect an addition of a bunch of new features! Tucson is already a feature rich SUV and a set of new features will up the game for Hyundai. Currently the Tucson is equipped with – dual-zone climate control, powered front seats with memory function, heated and ventilated front seats, 64 colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 8-speaker Bose sound system, and a lot more.

Outside the new Tucson does not get any significant changes. The SUV looks very much similar to the current model. However, for a fresher look, Tucson gets a redesigned front grille with minor changes to the headlamps. Also, Hyundai has now added new elements like the skid plate on both front and rear bumpers. The side profile continues to get those sharp cuts and creases while the SUV now sits on a new set of alloy wheels. Overall, Hyundai has not played much with the exterior design of the Tucson as it is already a striking looking SUV.

Hyundai has not announced any changes to the powertrain options for the new Tucson. Which means that it will continue with the same 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines in India.
