Hyundai as a manufacturer has always tried innovative ways to stay up to date in the Indian market. One such way was by introducing the N Line cars in 2021. Till now we, have seen this on the i20 and Venue. Next up, we could see the N Line version of the Creta. This would be based on the upcoming Creta facelift. In today’s article, let’s talk about this Hyundai Creta N Line.

Creta N Line

Hyundai Creta N Line

The Creta N Line is yet to be spotted, but the Creta facelift has been spotted several times. The Creta facelift is going to get a new design similar to the Palisade sold abroad. India will not be getting the Tucson like Creta unveiled in Indonesia. Talking about the Creta N Line, we can expect an N Line-specific grille and new bumpers. Other changes could include N Line-specific alloys, side skirts, N Line badging and a new rear bumper.

The interior of the Creta N Line could get an all-black look with a red insert to highlight the sporty nature. Additionally, we could see an N Line-specific gear lever and steering wheel. Like the facelift, the Creta N Line would also get features like a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster and ADAS.

More power?

The Creta N Line will come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. Unlike the i20 facelift, we don’t think this engine would be N Line specific and come on the facelifted Creta too. This engine is capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a manual and a 7-speed DCT. Could we see more power on the Creta N Line? We don’t think so, but Hyundai could give it a sportier suspension, louder exhaust and better handling like it does with other N Line models.

Hyundai Creta N Line – Launch timeline

Hyundai Creta N Line

Hyundai plans to launch the Creta facelift in the first quarter of 2024. We think the Creta N Line could be launched by mid-2024. What about the pricing? It is a bit early to speculate about the pricing, but we think pricing of the Creta N Line could start from Rs 18 lakh, and go up to Rs 24.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
