The Creta 2024 is going to be the next highly anticipated launch in the Indian market. Hyundai has started testing the car ahead of its launch. We have been regularly covering the car, and now a new test mule has been spotted revealing more information. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2024 Hyundai Creta. 

New spy video

The test mule was spotted in Chennai, near the Hyundai factory. The car is covered heavily in camouflage, but we can see the new front & rear design. The front spots a new DRL design forming a lighting shape. Then we have a massive front grille probably with chrome elements. Other changes include a new headlamp design and front bumpers. The side profile is not visible, but we can see the new alloy wheel design. Coming to the rear, we can see new rectangular tail lamps similar to the Exter. In the spy video, we can also, the sequential turn indicators in action.

We can expect some changes in the interior of the Creta facelift. We could see a slightly tweaked dashboard and some subtle design changes. What about features? We could see features like a 360-degree camera, heads-up display, and digital instrument cluster. The 2024 Creta is most certainly going to come with ADAS, how are we so sure? You can check it here

Expected specifications

Though not fully confirmed by Hyundai COO, the Creta facelift is surely expected to come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a manual and a DCT gearbox. The facelift will continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options will include manual and automatic options. We don’t expect any tweaks on other mechanical aspects, that will be reserved for the Creta N-Line.

According to reports, Hyundai plans to start production of the 2024 Creta in January 2024, and the launch is expected to happen in March 2024. What about the pricing? In the facelift, we can expect a price hike of Rs 60k to 70k depending upon the variants. Currently, the pricing of Creta starts from Rs 12.89 lakh and goes to Rs 23.02 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
