2023 Mahindra XUV700 – what to expect?
Mahindra disrupted the market with the XUV700 in 2021. It came with a muscular design, class-leading performance and several segment-first features. It took other manufacturers a lot of time to catch up with the XUV700. Now just as they were catching up, Mahindra wants to stay ahead of the curve. According to rumours, Mahindra is going to update the XUV700 just before the festive season. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Mahindra XUV700.
New features
According to media reports, Mahindra is planning to give the XUV700 a mid-cycle update. This will not be a facelift, but rather a feature update to keep the XUV700 fresh. Mahindra could add a 6-seater option with captain seats in the XUV700. Like the Safari, Mahindra could bring front and rear ventilated seats on the new XUV700. Another major addition could be auto-dimming IRVM missing on the current model. Also, some new ADAS features could be included in this update.
New variants
Mahindra is planning to introduce some new variants on the XUV700. There could be two variants above the current AX7. These variants could be named AX9 and AX9L. The AX9 could come with the above-mentioned features. There could be a new AX5L variant sitting between AX5 and AX7. Specification-wise, we think all these variants will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options.
2023 Mahindra XUV700 – Launch timeline
Mahindra is yet to reveal any concrete information regarding this upcoming update. Our sources in Mahindra have confirmed this development but didn’t state exactly what new things we can expect. Mahindra could launch the updated version during the festive season.
