The C-SUV segment is where all the action is. Almost all manufacturers have an SUV in this space or planning to bring one. Even with so much competition, the Koreans have an edge in this segment. The Creta tops the SUV sales chart, and now with the Seltos facelift, Kia will be hoping for similar high numbers. However, now two new cars could spoil the party of the Seltos facelift. In today’s article, let’s talk about new Seltos rivals.

Honda Elevate

Honda is finally entering the SUV space with the Elevate. The brand’s India survival depends on Elevate. Recently we got to drive the car and early impressions are pretty good. The Elevate draws inspiration from some global Honda cars. Honda has gone for a boxy design language, something loved by the Indian audience. In the interiors, we have a fresh dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system. Other features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and connected car technology. Also, the Elevate comes with Honda Sensing, which is ADAS. Specs-wise, the Elevate comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Honda is expected to soon announce the pricing of the Elevate.

New Seltos rivals – Citroen C3 Aircross

Citroen is taking baby steps in the Indian market and in its short stay has shown a good understanding of the market. It has figured out that it needs products in various segments to attract customers. Earlier this year,  Citroen unveiled the C3 AirCross in the country. The Citroen C3 AirCross also comes with a boxy design language. Citroen hasn’t changed much in the interiors compared to the C3 hatchback. It misses out on a lot of features compared to the competition. Specs-wise, it is going to come with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. Citroen is expected to launch the C3 AirCross in the upcoming months.
