Kia Seltos facelift on-road prices! Value for money?

Earlier this month Kia unveiled the much anticipated Seltos facelift in India. With the facelift, Kia is trying to give everything missing on the earlier Seltos. Now Kia has unveiled the final piece of the jigsaw by revealing the pricing. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Seltos facelift on-road price. 

Seltos facelift on-road price

The pricing of the Kia Seltos facelift starts from Rs 12.97 lakh and goes to Rs 24.06 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). 

First, let’s talk about the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol variants.

• HTE (12.97 lakh)
• HTK (14.38 lakh)
• HTK+ (16.01 lakh)
• HTX (18.04 lakh)
• HTX iVT (19.68 lakh). 

Now coming to the 1.5-litre turbo petrol variants.

• HTK+ iMT – Rs 17.77 lakh
• HTX+ iMT – Rs 21.67 lakh)
• HTX+ DCT – Rs 22.72 lakh
• GTX+ DCT – Rs 23.42 lakh
• X-Line DCT – Rs 23.65 lakh

Now coming to the 1.5-litre diesel variants

• HTE iMT – Rs 14.51 lakh

Design

Kia has made some changes to the exterior design of the Seltos. Now we have a new grille that is cut at the middle by the DRL strip. The DRL design continues over the LED headlamps ending on the turn indicators. Then below it, we have LED fog lamps. The side profile is identical to the earlier model. At the rear, we have new tail lamps that come with an inverted L-shaped with a connecting strip in the middle. Overall the Seltos now look even more aggressive and modern.  

Specifications

The Seltos comes with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 158bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and a DCT gearbox. The other two options include the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (113bhp/144NM) & a 1.5-litre diesel (113bhp/250Nm). Transmission options include a plethora of options from manual to AT. 

Kia Seltos facelift on-road price – Features 

The Kia Seltos comes with all the features that are required in this segment. It comes with features like a panoramic sunroof, a new digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, and sequential turn indicators. Kia has also added Level-2 ADAS on the Seltos facelift, adding an extra layer of security. Other safety features include 6-airbags, hill start assist, VSC, ESP etc.
