Hyundai had a decent 2022 in terms of sales. However, Tata Motors almost caught Hyundai in the top-selling manufacturers list. So Hyundai knows it needs to buckle up to keep Tata Motors at bay. To do it, Hyundai is updating its two most affordable product in its lineup, the Grand i10 Nios and Aura. Today Hyundai has unveiled the Grand i10 Nios and Aura facelift’s in the country. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Grand i10 Nios facelift.

New Design

i10 Nios facelift

The Grand i10 Nios facelift gets several changes at the front. First up we have eye shaped headlamps giving the car a mean look. Hyundai has also changed the DRL design. Overall the Grand i10 Nios looks to have taken inspiration from the Getz and Santro. The side profile is more or less identical barring the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, we have the infinity taillamps like the Venue facelift.

Hyundai has also revealed the design of the Aura sedan. At the front, we have pearl shaped headlamps with a small grille. Below that we have a bigger airdam that kind of integrates into the DRL design. The side profile and rear is similar to the older model.

Grand i10 Nios facelift – What else is new?

The overall interior of the Grand i10 Nios are the same, but Hyundai has added some new touches. Firstly we have new footwell lighting, modern upholstery. Safety-wise, Hyundai has made four airbags standard. The top model also comes with curtain airbags. Another plus point is the added highline TPMS.
