Maruti rules the compact sector in the country. It alone has close to 8 to 9 options in this space. One such popular car is the Dzire. The Dzire is people’s go-to option in the compact sedan space. Maruti is working on the new Dzire, but before that, Hyundai has updated the Aura, which competes with the Dzire. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Rs 7 lakh Dzire rival.

Design changes

The Aura facelift is yet to be spotted, but the Grand i10 Nios facelift was recently spotted testing in South Korea. According to reports, Hyundai plans to launch the Grand i10 facelift soon. So why are we talking about the Grand i10 Nios? For clarification, the Aura is just an extended version of the Grand i10 Nios. So Hyundai will have to update the Aura after the Grand i10 Nios.

Rs 7 lakh Dzire rival – Specifications

As this is only a facelift, Hyundai hasn’t played with the engine specifications. In view of the upcoming emissions norms, Hyundai has decided to discontinue the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine on the Aura facelift. So now we only have the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine capable of producing 81bhp and 113Nm of torque. Apart from this, the car will also continue with the CNG option on its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
