High ground clearance cars -Tata Nexon 209mm
When we say high ground clearance, then it has to be the SUVs. Talking about the Nexon here, it is the highest-selling SUV in the Indian market with monthly sales of over 14,000 units. This car is packed with all the modern-day features and is made available with two engine options. You get 1.2-litre petrol making 118bhp and 170 of torque. The Brezza has ruled the compact SUV segment for a considerable amount of time. Now that the crown is taken by the Nexon, the Maruti car has to grind up in sales. Now that we are known the fact that Brezza CNG is on its way, it is likely to increase its penetration in the segment. The new generation model which launched earlier this year is a big step up in terms of features. It gets a 360-degree parking camera, heads-up display, wireless charging and more. Hyundai has updated the Venue with a midlife facelift update this year. The design of the car is more inclined towards the current style language of Hyundai. The feature list of the Venue now unpacks LED headlamps, electric driver seat adjustment, a two-step recline for the backrest and more. This car is available with 3 engine options- 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and – a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options are to choose between a 5-speed manual(petrol only) 6-speed manual (diesel only) 6-speed iMT and a DCT automatic (turbo petrol only). The pricing of the Venue starts at Rs 8.84 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
