How the year has flown by as we enter the final month of December. 2022 has been a good year for manufacturers recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. The November sales figures are out, and it has been another good month for the manufacturers. SUV sales continue to fly high in the market. Like every month, today we will be discussing the sales figure of top SUV in November 2022.
Tata Nexon
The Tata Nexon has once again topped the top-selling SUV list in the country. The Nexon has dominated this list the entire year, barring in September when the Brezza topped the charts. Why is the Nexon so popular? The Nexon is popular for its high safety and features. Tata sold 15,871 units of Nexon in November. In comparison, Tata sold 13,767 units in October.
Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta is a car that needs no introduction in India. It practically started the SUV craze in our country. As a product, the Creta is known for its features and wide engine transmission options. Hyundai sold 13,321 units of Creta in November. In comparison, Hyundai sold 11,880 units in October.
Tata Punch
Tata has hit the jackpot with the Tata Punch. Since its launch last year, Punch has raked in an average sales of 11,000 per month. The main contributor to its sales has been its compact dimensions and safety. Tata sold 12,131 units of Punch in November. In comparison, Tata sold 10,982 units in October.
November SUV sales – Maruti Brezza
The New Brezza has attracted a lot of buyers. Maruti has done well to maintain the boxy design of the previous Brezza. Another thing Maruti has done well is by loading the Brezza with features. Maruti sold 11,324 units of the Brezza in November, a good enough rise from the 9,941 units it sold in October.
Hyundai Venue
Another compact SUV on the list is the Hyundai Venue. Like the Brezza, the new Venue is also selling like hotcakes. The new Venue’s new design has given the car a fresh look. Hyundai has also added several new features to the Venue. Hyundai sold 10,738 units of the Venue in November. In comparison, Hyundai sold 9,585 units in October.
Kia Seltos
Kia’s front-runner in sales continues to be the Seltos. The Seltos is done well to compete with its more popular cousin, the Creta. How has Kia managed to do this? The Seltos is known for its bold design and features. Kia sold 9,248 units of the Seltos in November. In comparison, Kia sold 9,777 units in October.
November SUV sales – Mahindra Bolero
Mahindra has updated its entire product lineup, but its best seller continues to be the Bolero. The Bolero continues to be a popular people mover in rural areas. It is famous for its ruggedness and capabilities. Mahindra sold 7,984 units of the Bolero in November, a slight decrease from the 8,772 units it sold in October.
Kia Sonet
Kia’s second car on the list is its compact SUV offering, the Sonet. It may not be as popular as the Seltos, but it is doing decent sales for the brand. Like it’s bigger cousin, the Sonet comes with a muscular design and several segment-first features. Kia sold 7,834 units of the Sonet in November. In comparison, Kia sold 7,614 units of the Sonet in October.
Mahindra Scorpio
The Scorpio has roared its way back with the Scorpio-N. Mahindra has recorded a combined sales of Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N of 6,455 units in November. The Scorpio nameplate holds a certain nostalgia in the market. The Scorpio-N has upped the game with its new design and features. While the Scorpio Classic continues to attract its hardcore fans.
November SUV sales – Mahindra XUV300
The XUV300 has also sneaked its way into the top 10 list. Mahindra’s plan to bring the Turbosport variant seems to have benefited the XUV300. Overall, the XUV300 is known for its high safety and spacious interiors. Mahindra sold 5,903 units in November, a slight decrease from the 6,282 units it sold in October.
