Kia Carens to get a new VFM variant!
Kia has had a dream start in our market. Since its launch, the brand has gone from strength to strength in the Indian market. As a brand, it has not shied away from entering the niche segments. Last year, it launched the Carens to break the monopoly of the Ertiga and XL6. It’s fair to say the Carens has punched above its weight. In a few weeks, Carens will be completing a year in the Indian market. We expect Kia to bring an anniversary edition to the Carens as it did with the Seltos and Sonet. In today’s article, let’s talk about this Kia Carens anniversary edition.
New exteriors
The Kia Carens Anniversary Edition is expected to get some subtle design changes. It could get exterior elements like a unique front skid plate, unique side skirts and diffuser. Kia has done the same on the Sonet & Seltos Anniversary editions. Other than that, we could see a new colour option on the Anniversary. We could see Orange accents on the Carens anniversary edition. We will also see the anniversary badging on the exterior of the car.
Updated interiors
The interiors are expected to get some subtle changes. We could see blacked out interiors and new coloured elements on the AC vents. Kia could also use anniversary badging on the headrests and door pads. What about features? We don’t expect any feature additions, so it will continue with features like ventilated seats, paddle shifters, Bose sound system, an electronic sunroof, 6-airbags standard, and drive modes.
Launch timeline
Kia is yet to confirm anything about the Carens Anniversary edition, but it’s something the brand has followed on the Sonet and Seltos. So we expect Kia to launch the Carens Anniversary edition when the car completes a year on the 16th of December 2022. Considering the success of the Kia Carens, the brand will be looking to celebrate the occasion.
