Upcoming Mahindra SUVs for 2023 explained!
Mahindra is a brand that has made its name in the SUV segment. Its focus on SUVs has really propelled the brand into the top-4 manufacturers list in the country. Cars like the XUV700 and Scorpio-N have been blockbuster hits for the brand. So what will be Mahindra’s next superstar SUV? There are some SUVs Mahindra can bring in 2023. In today’s article, let’s talk about 2023 Mahindra SUVs.
XUV400
The first car Mahindra will be launching in 2023 will be the XUV400. The XUV400 is the electric version of the XUV300. However, it is a bit bigger than the XUV300 due to less taxation on EVs. The XUV400 comes with a 148bhp motor with a best-in-class torque of 310 Nm. Mahindra claims a 0-100kmph time of 8.3 seconds, making it the fastest EV in this segment. What about the range? The XUV400 has a claimed range of 456km. It also comes with features like an electric sunroof, 7.0-inch infotainment, drive modes and connected car technology.
Bolero Neo Plus
Last year Mahindra launched the updated TUV300 as Bolero Neo. Now we could see the 9-seater version of the Bolero Neo as Bolero neo Plus. It could get a slightly different design than the Bolero Neo. Mahindra could also update the interiors to give them a better look. Unlike the Bolero Neo, the Bolero Neo Plus could come with a 2.2-litre mHawk engine. Feature-list is expected to remain the same. Mahindra could launch the Bolero Neo Plus in mid-2023.
2023 Mahindra SUVs – Thar 5-door
Mahindra is also working on a 5-door version of the Thar. This bigger Thar will provide better practicality with the extra space. Design-wise, it will be very similar to the 5-door version. How are we so sure? The Thar 5-door has been spotted several times hinting about the design. What about its engine specifications? The Thar 5-door could come with a 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine like the Scorpio-N. Feature-wise, it could come with new features like a reverse parking camera, a bigger glove box, rear wiper and defogger etc. Mahindra could unveil the Thar 5-door by the end of 2023.
