According to Bestcarweb, a Japanese auto website, Suzuki could launch unveil the new Swift in Spring 2023. Spring months could be anywhere between March to June. Most probably the car could be first unveiled in Europe, and the India launch could happen before Diwali. Diwali will be the perfect time for Maruti to bring the new Swift considering its popularity.

The new Generation Swift has been spotted several times in camouflage. From the overall silhouette, it seems to be getting a sleeker design. It could get newer headlamps and taillamps. The spy shot also revealed the door handles on the door rather than on the C-pillar like the current model.

Maruti could continue with the 1.2-litre DualJet engine in the new Swift. This engine is capable of producing 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. According to the latest reports, the new Swift could get a strong hybrid setup that could deliver a mileage of 35 to 40kmpl. This will make the Swift one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the country. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
