The Japanese automaker recently pulled off covers from their WR-V. This new generation model is on sale in the Asian markets whereas the Indian launch date is not yet defined. But, if we see at the SUV-centric market, Honda has to bring this compact SUV to gain numbers on the chart. If launched in India, it could go against the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and other sub-compact SUVs in India. In the South Asian market, the WR-V is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine making 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. However, it’s only available with a CVT auto gearbox.
