Ferrari, an Italian automaker, which is known to make cars or rather supercars, has unveiled another showstopper. A brand that has a history of making some of the most iconic cars in the world has entered a new playground with its mighty V12. Known for cars like the 812 Superfast, F12, 458, FF and many others, the new Purosangue lies in a different territory. It is carrying the Ferrari GT procession ahead which was boosted by the FF. This new Italian has four seats, four doors that open suicide style, and the iconic Ferrari V12 which is itself enough to take you on cloud nine. But wait! ‘You’ can’t buy it, even if you have the money ready for it. But why, you ask? We will tell you along with other details of the Ferrari Purosangue.

Ferrari Purosangue – Why you can’t buy one?

Ferrari Purosangue details

Ferrari has already received plenty of orders for the Purosangue and most of them are from existing Ferrari owners. The bookings are in huge numbers and as per Ferrari, it would give priority to the existing owners. Moreover, it is already known that Ferrari is not a mass producer, so it is likely to make a limited number of it.

The Italian carmaker has delivered around 11,000 cars in 2021 worldwide and now with the addition of Purosangue, the number could increase. However, as per Ferrari, the production of the latest car would not outsell the number of other cars. The brand is not necessarily targeting sales figures but wants to keep the car exclusive. Only 20 out of 100 Ferraris would be Purosangue which further justifies why it could be super exclusive. This analysis would be the salient reason why ‘you’ can’t buy the Purosangue unless you are already a Ferrari owner.

Ferrari Purosangue – their first SUV?

Ferrari Purosangue details

Maranello is ready to roll out a new Ferrari and its pure combustion power. This new Ferrari is short of any electric aid or any hybrid assistance. It has 12 cylinders mounted in the front of the car that are enthusiastic enough to roll a staggering 715bhp and 716Nm of torque. Power is channelled to all 4 wheels via a specific AWD system made for the Purosangue. 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 3.3 seconds with an astonishing top speed of 310kmph. So, is it really an SUV? Well, Ferrari is nowhere calling the Purosangue an SUV because it’s certainly NOT. Now, it is not sure exactly which segment it lies in.

It is said to be made on a modular platform with dynamics tweaked for enhanced comfort and performance. The interior is also mounted towards luxury with dual screens, premium seats and extensive use of leather. Being a Ferrari, it gets all the traditional elements like the Mannetino on the steering, and an analogue RPM dial that redlines at 8,250RPM.

What does it offer?

Ferrari is trailing on the same trend that has been carried forward by super SUVs. Many other cars like the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX and the Bentley Bentayga Speed are catering for the Super SUV needs. However, these all lie under the SUV category but the Purosangue does not. Ferrari has majorly focused on practicality with performance. Now, you can do high speeds with 3 people along with their luggage. It would be the most comfortable Ferrari to handle rough patches. The Purosangue would offer luxury and practicality better than any other Ferrari. The performance would not be as fierce as the hardcore 812 or the Pista but could be the best in its business.
