Jeep has always been known for its lineup of rugged cars. All its SUVs are capable of taking on different terrains. Traditionally, Jeep used conventional mechanical setup for making its products 4X4 capable. However, as time flew, global environmental constraints started coming into effect. This has led to brands focusing on environment-friendly alternatives while sticking true to their core. This is exactly what Jeep also had to do. They brought in the 4xe technology in order to make their cars capable and environment friendly at the same time. Today, Jeep celebrated its 4xe day and made multiple interesting announcements. However, one that caught our attention we were actually waiting for was their small SUV. Till now, multiple speculations led to it being called the Jeep Junior, Jeep Jeepster, etc. However, today the brand has confirmed that this SUV will be called the Jeep Avenger. What new do we know about it?

Jeep will initially be targeting Europe with this SUV. However, one key thing to note here is that this will be an all-electric SUV, atleast in the initial plan. Also, this will be the first all-electric Jeep in Europe. As far as launch plans are concerned, the brand has plans to launch this in Europe sometime in early 2023. This all-electric SUV will offer a range of around 400km (WLTP). This SUV will offer a 321-litre boot space as well.

Jeep Avenger – Will it come to India?

Jeep sits as a premium carmaker in India and asks a premium for its products as well. Now, competition for this SUV would be products like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, etc. as it is expected to measure somewhere around 4100mm in length.
