Unique Rs 12 lakh Hyundai SUV in the works!
Based on the global design cues of Hyundai, the Venue with its recent facelift has garnered some modern updates and features. However, Hyundai is keen to introduce a sporty trim in its variant lineup. The camouflaged car has been spotted many times over the past few months and is heavily anticipated. This new Venue update could be your option to consider if you are looking for some over-the-top upgrades rather than the standard car. We are referring to the new Hyundai Venue N Line. So, read till the end to know what all you might get in this unique Rs 12 lakh Hyundai SUV.
Hyundai Venue N Line
Hyundai Venue is set to get another variant popular in the brand’s global lineup, known as the N Line. So basically, N Line is a sportier update over the standard variant of the car. It possesses some upgrades that are more appealing to the buyers who are looking for a sporty makeover. Similar to what we see in the i20 N Line, the Venue is prepped for the same.
Now what makes this a unique case? Till date, Hyundai has only reserved the N Line mods to cars like i20, Elantra, Kona, etc. in the global markets. In India, only the i20 gets this N Line treatment. With the Venue N Line, Hyundai would add a new feather to its cap. This would be the first small SUV in the brand’s lineup to get this treatment. Moreover, it would be the first Hyundai SUV in India to get these additions. After the Venue gets the N Line treatment, the next SUV in line is expected to be the Creta.
Interior & Exterior
This new variant will supposedly be available in two trim levels namely – N6 & N8. The latter is to be based on the top model SX (O) trim. The black-themed cabin of the upcoming Venue N Line will get all the bells and whistles in the N8 trim, however, both trim levels will get the ‘N’ badging with red stitching on the seat cover, gear knob, and ‘N’ branding on the steering wheel. The feature list is expected to include powered driver seat, reclining second-row seats, connected car tech, electric sunroof, BOSE sound system, etc.
Starting off from the exclusive badging around the car, the N Line model could get a different pair of bumpers, a different design for the alloys, new chequered front grille with ‘N Line’ badging and some additional sporty treatments like rear spoiler and dual tip muffler. Enhancing the sporty appeal, it may get some red-coloured accents around the vehicle to differentiate it from the standard car. Hyundai may plan to introduce more dual color options as well since the standard car only gets Dual Tone combination with Phantom Black and Fiery Red paint schemes.
New Hyundai Venue N Line – Specifications & Launch
Moving ahead, the Venue N Line will mostly be made available with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which is capable of producing 118bhp & 172Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed DCT as well as an iMT gearbox. Safety-wise, it will continue to get 6 airbags with the lower N6 could mostly get 2 airbags.
As far as launch is concerned, it is expected to happen in the coming months, sometime by the end of this year.
