New Maruti Brezza launched – ALL DETAILS!
The Brezza is one car that had ruled the compact SUV segment in India for five consecutive years till FY21. However, the car needed an update. Maruti had to do something, and it has finally done that. Today it has launched the new Brezza. So, what new does this SUV get? Price and variants
The pricing of the new Maruti Brezza starts from Rs 7.99 lakh and goes to Rs 13.96 lakh (ex-showroom) . What about the variants? The new Brezza comes with ten variant options. The Brezza is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, & ZXi+. Automatic variants include VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Colour options include six single tone options – Sizzling Red, Brave Khaki, Exuberant blue, Magma grey, Splendid Grey and Pearl Arctic White. Dual-tone options include Sizzling Red with Midnight Black Roof, Brave Khaki with Arctic White Roof & Splendid Silver with Midnight Black roof.
Design
The Brezza was known for its boxy design, and Maruti has continued it with the new Brezza as well. What has Maruti changed? Maruti has now bettered the design with sharper headlamps and a new grille. It also gets a new air dam, improving the overall design. The side profile gets more cladding making the Brezza look bulkier. At the rear, we have L-shaped tail lamps. Like all updates, the Brezza also gets new alloy wheels.

The interiors also get a major update in the new Brezza. What are these updates? We see a new dashboard layout with the floating infotainment system. Below that, we have the AC vents and controls. Other highlights include a semi-digital instrument cluster and a new D-cut, three-spoke steering wheel.
Specifications
The new Brezza gets the new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15C DualJet petrol engine that is shared with refreshed Ertiga and XL6. This engine is capable of producing 101bhp and 136.8Nm torque. What about the hybrid setup? Maruti has given it a progressive smart hybrid technology to give it better fuel efficiency. The manual variants gets a mileage of 20.15kmpl and automatic variants will offer a mileage of 19.80kmpl.

Features are quickly becoming the main USP for all car buyers. Sensing the change, Maruti had to introduce newer features in the new Brezza, including the sunroof. Yes, the new Brezza gets a sunroof. What are the other highlighted features? They include a 9.0-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, heads-up display, rear AC vents, cooled glove box, Arkmays sound sense, alloy wheels, Auto headlamp, OTA updates, Suzuki connect, ambient lighting. What about safety? The new Brezza comes with ESP, 6-airbags, hill hold assist and reverse parking sensors. Out of the many safety features, ESP, hill hold assist, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors and ISOFIX are some important standard safety features.
