Maruti is on a roll and is updating its whole line-up. We have seen some really promising products like the new Baleno which marked the brand’s journey as a technology-focused automaker after long being bashed for unavailability of modern features. Recently, we have seen major updates in the Ertiga and the XL6 MPVs. Now in the coming three months, the brand is planning to bring in more updates and updated cars. In this article, we discuss three month Maruti plan.

Maruti three month plan – New Maruti Brezza

Maruti three month plan

We already know that the new Maruti Brezza will soon be hitting the markets. The Brezza was always a very capable car with its 1.5-litre petrol engine powering it. However, the Brezza did take a beating in the features and cabin feel departments. Maruti was bashed for the not-so-great interiors expected from a car which easily costs above Rs 10 lakh. Now, Maruti is finally bringing the new Brezza on 30th June. The updated compact SUV now looks more sharp and modern than the current generation as clearly revealed from the spy shots.

Talking about the features, it would be getting many new ones with some of them being borrowed from the new Baleno. Features like a big 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Suzuki Connect, heads-up display, and a 360-degree parking camera will be a part of the package. Also, it would be the first Maruti car to get a sunroof. We expect the new Brezza to start from somewhere around Rs 9 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). We really expect the new Brezza to overcome the shortcomings that the current model faces and sit in the segment as an even stronger product.

Maruti Creta-rival SUV

Maruti three month plan

After the Brezza, Maruti would roll out an all-new mid-size SUV. Due to the Maruti and Toyota tie-up, this SUV will be shared by both the brands. We recently saw a front fascia spy shot of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder (the same car on which the Maruti Creta rival will be based). In the market, it would compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta, the Tata Harrier and other cars in their respective segments. Maruti is expected to load this car with many features.

A 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Suzuki Connect, premium sound system, heads-up display, ventilated seats, 360-degree parking camera, and a sunroof are touted to be a part of the package. Talking about the engines, the car is expected to come with 1.5-litre petrol engines with mild-hybrid petrol engine as well as a powerful 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine. We expect the starting price to be somewhere around Rs 12 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). The Toyota SUV will see a launch first which will then be followed by the launch from Maruti. Both cars are expected to launch around the festive season.

Maruti three month plan – Maruti S-Presso Facelift

Maruti three month plan

Maruti S-Presso was launched in 2019. There are rumours around that the car could be updated in the coming months. Starting with the looks, the front grille might get some changes along with new paint schemes. Inside, it might continue to remain the same. The major change over here could be in the powertrain department. Maruti has reworked its 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine. This engine now makes 66bhp & 89Nm of torque, which is similar power to its older K10B engine, but brings a boost for the mileage figures. So, this engine could power the S-Presso now. We expect Maruti to subtly update the S-Presso facelift in the upcoming three months.
